I saw the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer yesterday and I was inspired to make some customs.
The Thing
Recipe: Thing figure (from the Silver Surfer series). He's just a repaint. I painted many layers and tones to get the desired effect. I'm very pleased with how he turned out (he looks even better in person).
Dr. Doom
Recipe: Dr. Doom figure (Silver Surfer series). He's also just a repaint. I wasn't very happy with this figure when I saw it in the store today. His coat color was wrong and he had no eyes! He comes with a lightening bolt, I added silver to it to give it more of a shine.
