Smallville is such an amazing show and the episode "Justice" from the current season was simply amazing. I can't wait to see what else they have in store for this show for the next two years.

So is that the official word, that there will be two more years of Smallville? Do they have contracts that long? Then the show will over? Has the CW said they want it for that long?
I agree that it's an awesome show. I couldn't get into it when it first aired. It was so dark. But I started to watch this past year and have caught up with most of the reruns. I think it's a really amazing show. The way the characters have evolved seems like it was planned that way from the beginning. Lex's gradual descent into darkness has been brilliant.
I don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't watched recent episodes, but the turns the show has taken lately have been crazy! Can't wait until the next episode!

From what I was reading at www.kryptonsite.com they stated that Tom Welling had a contract through the end of Season 8 and that Michael Rosenbaum only had a contract until the end of Season 7. I'm guessing that if the show is not cancelled that the show will continue until Season 8 and then end. This season is amazing, I can't wait until the next new episode this week. I am anxious to see what the future holds in store for all of the characters.

I am a big fan of the show and watched so far 4 seasons which were 4 amazing seaons even so they did kinda changed the story of superman but it's cool. I still love the show, we watch reruns here of seaon 1-4, it showed this seasons 2 times while season 1 was 3 times here but course the coutry where i live the studios fought with the studio in america we never before this two timers recently saw seasons 2,3, 4 on tv before, it got to dvd before it got on tv, however i saw on the net a couple of eppisodes of season 5 which i loved and laughed at few of the eppisodes course they were funny. Can't wait to see all season 5.

Well I have season 1 and 2 and really liked it.
I thought season 1 was a lil immature...like aimed at a younger audience. I know the first seasons of buffy were monster of the week etc like smallville but buffy just seemed a bit more mature etc.
Im not saying smallville is bad just that at first it seemed a little too light hearted etc and the will they wont they romance between lana and clark seemed forced for me and a bit childish...Season 2 however was much better. The finale of seaosn one really picked up the pace and the story arc of season 2 really livened up the show and took it to another level.
Im really looking forward to getting season 3 now...although the cliffhanger of season 2 was rubbish compared to season 1. It seemed too forced, I cant imagine clark actually doing that and being that irresponsible...he'd never abandoned his wounded mother like that and his new romance with Lana. He seemed like it was just thrown in there for the sake of having a cliffhanger...plus it seemed like a rip off of season 2 buffy and how that ended; with her completely f**king everything up and running away...and with Smallvilles track record of Buffy rip offs I wouldnt be surprised if is wasnt 'just a coincidence'.

I Love the show even so i see it as a new superman story but the actors are good.
And stakey he didn't abandoned his mother or his girlfriend Lana but simply it wasn't him, he was influnced by the red kryptonite so it's diffrent. The Actual Clark would never ever do that, you as well as i do know that or so i hope that you know. In the original story Clark and Kal El are The same person but in this show they are two completly diffrent people and personalities.

In the eppi that he left Smallwille, yes it was by choice but in the situations before or after that it wasn't by choice. Infact he didn't want in that cases to put it on but his friends or the other girl that likes him did, but this eppi is in season 4. However in the cases before this and before an eppi in season 4 it wasn't by his choice at all.
