From my site ( groups.yahoo.com/groups/btvs-angel-authors ):::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
It's big! It's Joss! And it's here! We all have been waiting eagerly
for our issues of Buffy: Season Eight to be delievered... But what
about the authors? We talked with Chris Golden (The Lost Slayer),
Keith R.A. DeCandido (Blackout), Yvonne Navarro (Wicked Willow), and
Jeff Mariotte (UNSEEN).....
________________________________________________________________
1) How excited are you about the new comic, being a fan of the show?
CG: Can't wait. I just wish it could be weekly.
KRAD: I think it's a cool idea, though I think they'll be hard-
pressed to improve on what Nancy did in QUEEN OF THE SLAYERS.
2) If there was one thing you could put into the comic, such as a
plot, bringing back a character, etc, what would it be?
CG: Tara, of course.
KRAD: If I were doing it, I'd try to bring back as many characters
as possible, given that the comic book is unrestrained by actor
availability.
3) If you were asked to write for the comic, how soon would you
reply with a yes, assuming that you would say yes? A second, a
minute, five minutes, or after a day?
CG: I'm more than content to sit back and read while Joss and his
crew deliver the best Buffy comics ever.
KRAD: Pretty much immediately. As it is, I'm peeved, as this comic
has made it impossible for anyone not named Joss Whedon to propose a BUFFY comic right now.
4) Have you pre-ordered the first issue of Buffy: Season Eight?
CG: Of course.
KRAD: Not yet.
5) THIS IS FOR ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE READ (or written) QUEEN OF THE SLAYERS ... How would you like the novel to transition into the new comic?
KRAD: I'd like them to work in tandem, but I don't see that
happening....
OTHER::::::
YN: I have not signed up to get the comic book. Unfortumately, I am one of those folks who lost interest in comics coming out of
teenhood. I seldom read them and never buy them.
JM: I doubt that I'll read the comic, and wouldn't be interested in
writing for it, so I should probably pass on these.
